United Attacks Against Socotra (click above, on the button) is a work that addresses a huge contradiction: an island in the midst of a civil war that, at the same time, has become a booming tourist destination... an exotic paradise sold by agencies and content creators. In it, I explore the tension between the idyllic mask and the reality of a land traversed by political, commercial, and military aspirations.

Investigating, I discovered Solidarios Sin Fronteras, a Spanish NGO that helps Yemen. This does seem to me a compelling reason to carry out this project: to get more people to collaborate with this organization to mitigate the damage of a disaster that has already lasted over a decade.
